Public Outreach

Our Mission

The Moore Center for Marine Conservation is dedicated to increasing awareness of marine conservation issues facing us locally and globally through the use of Marine Conservation Ambassadors.

Marine Conservation Ambassadors

Marine Conservation Ambassadors are either experts in the field of marine conservation or those volunteers that have completed a certification course allowing them to present relevant and important marine conservation issues in a public forum.

Conservation Presentations

We are currently offering presentations on shark conservation, ray and sawfish conservation, sea turtles, lionfish invasion, manatees, conservation through ecotourism, marine plastics pollution and garbage patches, climate change including ocean acidification. All presentations within a fifty mile radius of Clearwater, FL are provided at NO COST, however any donations to our nonprofit would be greatly appreciated and accepted, but they are not required. Out of area and out of state presentations are available and we request travel expenses be covered for two staff to provide these presentations. For more information or to schedule a presentation please click the button below.
